Yscaira Jimenez, Guayubin-born and Bronx-bred, is the founder of La Pregunta.  She speaks 4 languages, has traveled to 30 countries and  started La Pregunta because she was tired of taking the train downtown to feed her cultural appetite.  Speaking of appetite, Yscaira likes to eat her mom’s Pastelon, chicken necks, and açai na tijela.  She loves Lord of The Rings, Twilight, writes sappy love poems, and plays Capoeira.

Kirsy Rosa, a Vegana from D.R., is a sexophonist and uber barista. Shes been on the underground Jazz, Funk & R&B scene since she was 8 years old. She likes chocolate chip cookies, watching cartoons, and listening to John Coltrane.

Euphrates Lalondriz is a Bronx Native who hates the Yankees.  A backup dancer for Maria Carey in Dream Lover, he’s lived in Japan, New Orleans, all over Europe and the Caribbean.  As well-traveled as he is, he stays close to home, making the best Nutcrackers in NYC!  He has two beautiful hazel-eye kids who make him feel ugly.

Jessica Vosburgh, a self-taught closet artist, is a New Englander who speaks Hindi Urdu, Spanish, and Portuguese.  Now an events curator and immigrant artist advocate, she spent a year with punk rockers and graffiti artists in Rio de Janeiro.  She grew up listening to heavy metal and Delta blues but was recently spotted shrieking at an Aventura Concert.

Executive Chef Adolfo Silverio, also know as “Big A from the block,” is literally from the block.  Born and raised on 135th and Amsterdam, he has 23 years working in upscale catering.  Wanting to share his gourment sazon, he fuses Latin tradition with world-class culinary delights.  When he was in Catholic school, he founded ABC-The Altar Boys Crew.

Alise Green is a senior at Columbia University.  Born in Poughkeepsie, she’s half Cuban, half honorary Brazilian.  She practices Capoeira, loves Flamengo and will kick your ass if you don’t like her Caipirinhas.

Michael Angeles is a Philipino via California who’s traveled the world and calls Harlem home.  Recently spotted in Essaouira, Morroco, he picked up some contraband mint and is  back making the best Mojitos in town.

La India, legally born as Dominga Jimenez and giving birth to the founder and all her crazy ideas, spices up the kitchen with her hardcore Dominican flavor.  She has 5 kids, 10 grandkids, and is dreading the day she becomes a great-grandmother.  She loves feeding people till they pop.
